If you love the Margarita as much as we do, then it's not a drink you're willing to give up if your watching you're figure. Yet between the tequila, the triple sec, and the Margarita mix, a classic Margarita tips the scales at over 400 calories. Yikes! To cut corners we limit the amount of tequila to 1.5 ounces, exchange the triple sec with orange juice, and swap out the sweet and sour with lite lemonade. The BEST Skinny Margarita Recipe ~ 110 Calories 1 ounce orange juice 13 calories ½ lime juice 1 calorie 1.5 ounces tequila 95 calories 2 - 3 ounces lite lemonade 5 calories Salt for the rim Lime garnish
Directions Fill your glass with ice, then add the orange juice, lime juice, tequila, and lite lemonade. Pour the mixture into a pint or tall glass to mix. Take a lime and run the lime around the rim of your Margarita glass. Dip the glass into your Margarita salt and then gently shake it to remove the excess. Pour the skinny Margarita back into the salt-rimmed glass, garnish with a lime, and serve.
