Super Bowl LVI Cocktail Recipes

Super Bowl LVI Cocktail Recipes

The Super Bowl is finally here and what a weekend it will be. Not only did the Los Angeles Rams manage to make it to the end, they are playing in their home stadium! Football fans know the odds of the stars aligning like this…it’s rare. SoFi Stadium was chosen to be the hosting venue back in 2016 when construction was in the earliest of stages. The big day is finally here and the residents of Los Angeles couldn’t be happier. To top it all off? It’s going to be 80*. So SoCal!

To help with the celebrations, we’ve got two delicious cocktail recipes for you. The Ramarita and the Bengals Growl. As always, both are easy to make and require very few ingredients. Enjoy!

Ramarita
2 ounces tequila blanco
1 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce blue curaçao
1 overflowing teaspoon agave
Gold sugar rim (mixed with salt if desired!)
Lime wheel garnish

Directions
Pour a small amount of gold sugar onto a plate. On another plate, pour a shallow layer of agave. Dip your glasses into the agave, then the sugar. Gently tap each glass to shake off any excess. Put the glass(es) in the refrigerator to harden while you prep the rest of the drink. Fill your martini shaker with ice. And the tequila, lime juice, lemon juice, blue curaçao, and agave. Shake well! Grab your sugar-rimmed glass from the fridge and carefully place your ice cubes inside to prevent knocking off too much sugar. Fill the ice to the top! Strain the Ramarita into the glass, garnish with a lime, and serve.

Bengals Growl
2 ounces golden rum
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce lemon juice
2 ounces orange soda
1 ounce Champagne
Blackberry garnish

Directions
Fill your martini shaker with ice. Add the rum, Cointreau, and lemon juice. Shake well! Strain into a high ball filled with ice. Add the orange soda, Champagne, and blackberry garnish. Cheers!
