This Girl Travel: The Ritz Carlton at Key Biscayne
When we set off to explore the Florida Keys off the southern most tip of the state, we were expecting beautiful beaches, quaint boutiques, and luxurious hotels. We found nothing of the such which will be saved for another blog post. But fortunately for us, we had booked our final night on the East Coast at The Ritz Carlton onKey Biscayne, which made the ending of the trip the best part.
Nestled in the serene surroundings of the Florida Keys near Miami, the Ritz Carlton exudes an atmosphere of tranquility and luxury that is truly unparalleled. From the moment of arrival, the staff's warm and gracious hospitality set the tone for an exceptional stay. The seamless check-in process and personalized attention immediately made us feel welcome.
Our accommodations at Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne seemed to be part of a time share or Ritz Residence. There were several locked closets in our room and there was an ample selection of laundry detergent and dryer sheets that had already been tapped into. We were only there for one night but had we had a longer stay, the option to wash clothes would have been amazing.
One of the most memorable aspects of our stay was the exceptional dining experiences offered at the resort. We dined at the bar, in the restaurant, and at the beach. In the morning they offer a beautiful buffet and if that’s not your thing, then they hav a wonderful breakfast menu as well. The service was top notch in every location.
In the morning we popped down to the market for some coffee and pastry at the market, which also offers a lot of darling gifts and souvenirs. We were traveling with carry-ons which is the only thing that prevented me from scooping up a bunch of their bar ware. The had super classy cutting boards and martini glasses, gourmet olives, fancy wine stoppers, and much more. Make sure you stop by this little shop during your visit.
We spent most of the day at the beach but in the afternoon, ventured over to the adult pool. Once again, the service was great from the pool attendant. The pool is large, there are chairs in abundance, and if you’re as lucky as us, you’ll get to watch the iguanas climb around in the bushes and stroll past the lounge chairs.
This was definitely one of the most mellow Ritz Carltons we’ve stayed at. If you’re looking for a quieter hotel to stay in that’s still near Miami, then this is the spot for you.
