Pomegranate Tequila Cocktail Recipe

It's that time of the year again. Pomegranates are everywhere and will adorn our kitchen counters and tables through the New Year. Pomegranates are known antioxidants and maybe best of all (and more importantly), provide amazing juice for fall and winter cocktails. Pomegranate Seeds

Pomegranates are slightly tart and require a small amount of sugar in mixed drinks for balance. You can use granulated sugar (like we did for this recipe), simple syrup, or a generous portion of liqueur. We always recommend that you start off with smaller increments and build the drink to your liking.

Pomegranate Cocktail

Pomegranate Tequila Cocktail Recipe 3 ounces pomegranate juice 1.5 ounces tequila ¾ ounce orangecello 1 teaspoon organic sugar

Directions Pull apart 1 pomegranate and collect all the little seeds in a martini shaker. Muddle well, which should yield about 3 ounces. Remember that you can always cheat and buy the juice!!  Strain the juice into a new shaker, then add the tequila, sugar, and orangecello. Shake with ice, then strain into a glass filled with ice and rimmed with sugar.
