Summer Solstice 2024 Cocktails
It’s our favorite day of the year because it’s the longest day of the year. You get to take up extra early and take a walk while it’s light out, and stay up extra late out on the porch because it’s light out. We created three cocktail recipes for morning, noon, and night that are meant to resemble the sky on this incredible day.
Summer Solstice Dawn Cocktail
Summer Solstice Dawn Cocktail
2 oz tequila
½ oz grenadine
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz fresh orange juice
Champagne topper
Directions
Fill a glass with crushed ice, then layer the ingredients in this order: grenadine, tequila, grapefruit juice, orange juice, and champagne. You’ll notice the morning sky effect right away. Stir if desired and serve.

Summer Solstice Afternoon Cocktail
1 oz vodka
1 oz grapefruit juice
¾ oz Aperol
4-6 oz bubbly (champagne, prosecco, cava, etc.)
Directions
Fill a martini shaker with ice and add the vodka, grapefruit juice, and Aperol. Shake will to mix, then strain into a champagne flute. Tilt the glass to a 45* angle and slowly add the bubbly.

2 oz tequila
1.5 oz This Girl Walks Into a Bar Margarita Mix
½ oz grapefruit liqueur
½ oz simple syrup
Grapefruit peel or dried wheel
Directions
Fill a martini shaker with ice and add all of the ingredients. Shake well then strain into a martini shaker or coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and serve.
